My motivation and creativity flew out the window during the Covid-19 shutdown. I wore pajamas for 34 consecutive days. My thoughts and fears blended together and rendered me a mess, to make matters worse.
One idea repeatedly came to the forefront. My mother used to say, “You are as stubborn as a mule.” She was right. I just didn’t realize that a mule could kick itself in the butt. On day 35, I began to write again. Once I surrendered to the muse within, I started drawing the images in this gallery–a hidden talent brought to life while staring at the same four walls day after day.
My debut book, Quarantine State of Mind, chronicles the process of reuniting myself with my passions. It will make you laugh, cry and cheer out loud. My biggest desire is that it will encourage you to live your dreams while you are awake. Coming October 2022 through Bartonbell Publishing.
